"People holding flowers" - Zhu Weibing and Ji Wenyu
This is probably one of my favourite works of art in the gallery. It's very flowing and balanced and its not something that you would see everyday. I'm not sure what the artist was trying to say but i think he might have been trying to represent unity and love for mother natures creations. The artist probably used clay to make the small men, and the flowers were made out of a soft kind of material.

"Angel" - Gonkar Gyatso
In this painting, the artist reconfigures the Buddha of traditional Tibetan scroll into a shadowy outline filled with stickers. I find this very interesting, considering that not many artists use stickers in their art. This piece is very moving and i think the artist has used alot of organic lines.

APT6

On the 22nd of February, our school took a trip to the GOMA art gallery in Brisbane to see The 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. It was incredible! Every single piece of art work was unique in its own way. There were some really energetic and glowing artworks, but at the same time there were many illusory and challenging pieces of art. But they all had something in common; they were all very, very powerful. The APT6 is one of those places where you could just stay forever and ever. You could stand there staring at one painting for 15 minutes and no one would care. These are some photos of my favourite pieces:
